Research Focus:


I have been working as an intern at FuEDEI since December 2019 on different projects, mainly on the control of water hyacinth (Pontederia crassipes), the waterweed Cabomba caroliniana and the moth Cactoblastis cactorum. My tasks include insect breeding and plant maintenance, development of experiments, and collaboration in sampling and data collection.

In addition, I am currently working on my bachelor thesis at the Laboratory of molecular fertilization mechanisms in plants in the Institute for Research in Genetic Engineering and molecular Biology “Leandro N. Torres” (INGEBI-CONICET) using the model organism Arabidopsis thaliana.
